The Chrism Mass happens once a year during the Lenten Season. Two things happens at the Chrism Mass :
All the priests renew their priestly promises in front of the Bishop and the People of God.
The bishop blesses and consecrates the holy oils used for the sacraments. The Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens and the Sacred Chrism.
This year the Chrism Mass will be at Maria Lanakila Church in Lahaina. St. Anthony Church has rented a 52 passenger bus to transport parishioners who would like to go to the Chrism Mass.
Mass will be on Thursday, March 20.
Bus departs at 5:30 PM to Maria Lanakila Church.
