Celebrated annually throughout the Catholic Church in the United States, this Mass honors those employed in public safety fields—including police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, 911 operators, and EMS personnel. The color blue represents the uniforms predominantly worn by these services. Similar to the Red Mass, the service honors first responders currently serving as well as those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, providing a meaningful opportunity for the community to show gratitude to them and their families.
